It’s About Trust

Someone needs to read this today. Last night the Lord showed me that He wanted me to share this experience and revelation. Many years ago I was so frustrated. At that time I had tried every possible avenue to quit smoking, but no matter what I did, I was not able to get beyond the cravings of the addiction.

I was not able to go for more than 2 hours without a cigarette and anytime that I tried, it felt like my entire chest would cave in on me and my heart would beat frantically for relief. My health was falling apart and I just sat and cried to God to help me.

After I prayed and asked God to give me a supernatural deliverance from the addiction, the Lord answered me. He told me to fast. I was confused about why He said to start fasting, but then He clarified that He wanted me to fast from smoking.

I was a little annoyed because I had obviously already tried that. But then He showed me that when we pray for something, that it means nothing if we will not trust Him to fulfill the request. So many people throw prayers to God but very few actually trust Him to manifest those requests.

So I picked a time with God about when I would start my “fast”. Actually He picked a time for me lol! As I let go of all of my cigarettes, it was the step of trust that saved me. The moment that I did as God had said and I stepped into my smoking fast, I was supernaturally delivered from the addiction instantly.

After over 20 years of trying to quit smoking, I was able to quit with ZERO cravings! It was unbelievable that God would make it so easy, after such an affliction. The only thing that I needed to do was get used to living as a non-smoker.

The Lord told me last night that the moment that I asked Him to deliver me from smoking, that it was already done. That exact moment that the prayer was prayed, an answer was given! Often people go looking for a person to pray for them to get healed or delivered, but honestly, the Lord showed me that we have His anointing within us. It is not so much about faith or finding the most popular minister, as it is about trust. God said that we only needed a tiny mustard seed size of faith and what we ask for will be done.

Today the Father is saying that if you will just pray and trust that it has already been done, then that desire is yours. The key to the miracle is to really, truly trust Him to answer the request. For some of us (especially myself) trust is one of the hardest things to give away. Yet there comes a point that if we really want to see and experience the Father’s heart for us, that we just have to let go of our insecurities and surrender into trusting Him.

God wants us to trust Him to bless us outrageously with the answer to our prayers. The moment that we pray, we need to trust that it is already done and not continue to worry about it. There is no limit to what trusting God can do for you. Anything is possible and those who trust in Him will not be disappointed or put to shame. May this be a life-changing day for you, God bless.

Love, Dannette

Sarah’s faith embraced the miracle power to conceive even though she was barren and was past the age of childbearing, for the authority of her faith rested in the One who made the promise, and she tapped into His faithfulness.
