A Love Language Of Pandas

 

I was sharing the upstairs bedrooms of a townhouse in Florida with two of my daughters, many years ago. There was something that came very unexpected that caused us to suddenly have no place to go. Obviously, it was an enemy attack, but God used it to bring us into n0n-stop love encounters with His promises. 

 

I had no car, no income, and no money to do anything. Yet, what was unexpected to me, was no surprise to God. Before we were faced with being on the streets, I had several encounters with God, with promises to rescue us. 

 

He gave me a promise to be our Home, to be our food and support, and He vowed that we would not end up on the streets or even in a shelter. He sent me a little money and told me to get a ride to a hotel in the town that He spoke in my dream. 

 

With nothing but a promise from God, and hope in my heart, I set out to trust Him to save our lives, and to honor His words. We went to the hotel with the little money He sent me to get started, and from there He has held us up above the dreadful threats of homelessness and hunger. 

 

He said that my blog was my income, and He put me in a position to only rely on His promise and do what He leads me to do, with blog posts, and products. God would give me prophet symbols of promise to help me remember His promises in the times that were terrifying to walk through. 

 

There are so many, and it was God’s way of speaking my love language in a way that was easy and comforting. For instance, He gave me the number 711 as His promise to be our Home, and our Source of support. 

 

Since He is ever-present, He can speak a promise through anything, even something out of context. During this journey, He helped me shed off the religious mindset that stopped me from trusting His messages before, and I opened my heart to however God wanted to speak to me. The religious mindest is one of witchcraft and it can always be identified with paranoid, fearful thinking. 

 

He spoke my promise of 711 out of a scripture and He lifted up His love through the words, and hugged me close in the comforts of His promise to support us through this journey. 

 

Throughout the years, God has given me a whole book of little nuggets of love language promises and He has upheld His vows. 

 

There was one promise that I really treasured, and it was in the image of a “Panda”. There was someone who had hurt me, and God made a promise that this person would give me a “peace offering” blessing, so that we would start over again with love, and forget the wrongs of the past. 

 

The the 1940’s, country of China would give pandas to the zoo’s in states that they wanted to welcome a friendly connection with. The tradition spread, as pandas were given as a token of peace to other countries as well. 

 

From there, the panda became known as an ‘International Symbol of Peace’. They are cute, cuddly, and a symbol of friendship. When God gave me this promise of the blessing of a new beginning with this person, He showed it to me as the person giving me a panda—a love gift to bring back peace, harmony, and love. 

 

Just like personal promises, the treasure symbols of promise are unique. Two people could receive the same symbol from God, but the message may be different, because it is personalized with love for that special heart. 

 

I love the treasure symbols of promise that God has given me, because they help me keep thoughts of hope, and faith when I am waiting, or facing the fears of the unknown. 

 

I have also been corrected a lot by God. My old “religious” brain would instantly associate something that God created in nature as something evil, because of the paranoid conditioning that witchcraft attacks peoples thoughts with, but then God would show me love instead. 

 

He would show me a treasure symbol that I used to see as “evil” and then He would speak a message of good and love. His love healed away that fear based mindset with love, and very often His used the treasure symbols of promise to turn me around and to correct me from connecting with those paranoid thoughts. 

 

It’s a beautiful thing to have a promise from God, because it is life changing. That is why I love to share the treasure symbols of promise with others, but God has used them for my life to save me time after time. 

 

Nothing I feared every came true, but rather, God’s love was the only constant security through everything. Even when faced with a sudden eviction, or car loss, or homelessness, God had a plan and a promise to hold us over every enemy attack. When the enemy comes in like a flood, God will show up with an upgrade, and double the blessings. We can literally celebrate in our troubles, because it is an indication of a HUGE increase. We are blessed always. 

 

The unexpected things can come, but we have peace with God’s promise that He will lift us up, save us, and bring us outcomes of HOPE and LOVE. So do not fear what is ahead, but let God’s promise be your peace as you rest in His ever-present love to take you into even better than what you had.
