There are a multitude of tiny little steps that we can take to see the blooming fulfillment of our dreams, and those personal promises that God has made. It takes more than just to say you believe with an ‘amen’, but you must take little steps to become that person, yourself. Because it starts from the inside and it blossoms out.
That means tweaking how you think, act, what you do, even for some people how we eat, give, or spend. Every time we do a little thing to become the person that God has said that we could be, then we are planting a garden of future beauty to see those things blossoming.
If you were to go on my website right now, https://diamondsfromthedust.com/ you would see that there are many things under construction. I have a second store at the bottom, that I have been building that has so much growth potential.
There are many more ways to pay, such as payment plans and direct to bank. There will be so many things that I will be able to offer, such as appointments, subscriptions and even coaching.
Also, there is an option for recurring giving, for those who prefer to bless our journey of faith in such a way. The other website is open, but it is in the process of growing.
I added a Crypto link yesterday on the love offering page, even though that whole thing is foreign to me. Also, behind the scenes, I have been working as a faith mentor to help someone who was struggling to believe in the way that God has shown me to do.
Sometimes people need someone else to take them by the hand and help them take baby steps to believe in something so big and impossible looking, and that is what I have been doing.
The fruit started coming out very quickly for this person, and I couldn’t be happier. At first, I didn’t want to do it, but after seeing the remarkable difference that little steps can change, I was so thankful to God and in awe.
It’s all about the little things that we do, the details are what changes everything. I have been planting flowers of faith to trust in God’s promise, even though they have not started sprouting. There are many blog posts and love letters about dreams, promises, and gigantic changing the landscape.
God has privately been having me sow seeds of blessings in unique ways, for the future beauty that He has promised me. Even though I am on this journey of living without an income, and only the currency of faith in His promise, I have been casting my poll as God’s promises as Sovereign in the face of fear and needs.
So many little details have gone into the garden, I have been listening to God’s promises for my life every morning, as I take a walk through this unfamiliar city. I have been shining God’s promises through the darkness, by letting myself think only thoughts of hope and faith in God’s rescue to us.
There have been a million little things that God has been doing to help me enter into the new life that God promised me, including resting in His promises and trusting in His ever presence.
Just like Eleanor Roosevelt was so lovely to say, ‘The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”. Or, as Audrey Hepburn once said, “To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow”.
Instead of being overwhelmed by looking at how big or impossible the promise of God sounds, start to make little changes in the details of what you do, and what you think about.
Sometimes being able to believe, means taking “little steps” that your future dream you would do. Ask yourself, “how would the dream, or promise fulfilled me, think or act at this moment?”.
We have to allow ourselves to become possessed by the promise and by God’s Sovereign rule. That often means that we must be changing all the little things that we have done so long, in order to think like you are already standing in the blooming fulfillment of the promised land.
One way that God has me do that is by how I give. When I am scared to obey God and sow a seed of love to someone else as a financial gift, I have to see myself always having the abundance that God promised. I have to see God’s promise as the ruler of my thoughts and decisions of my life.
Giving is an act of love, self-surrender, and trust in Jesus. When we sow seeds of financial support to others, we are actually planting trees of tremendous support for ourselves. God asks us to give, to protect us, to protect our future, to protect our promises.
There are so many details that we can do to put God’s promises first, and it often looks messy and under construction as we are standing in both the present time, and the promise fulfilled and dream’s fulfilled time.
You are allowed to be a work in process. You are allowed to think and act like you are already as God promised before you see it materialize into your life. It is by doing the tiny little things, that causes the biggest change.
Every time you choose to think and act according to how God promised, then you are planting a seed in your garden of the new ‘you’. It’s so much more than just to spend time exercising our faith, is changing our perspective, and training our mind to believe in what God promised now, even when we have nothing.
I spent the day yesterday listening to a recording I made of God’s promises to me, and speaking His promises over my fears. I didn’t have anything, but I spoke as though I had all that God promised me, and I also allowed myself to feel like the beauty of His words had bloomed into my life.
There were some things that God had me do that was scary, like being in the darkness, and I had to encourage myself in God’s words and redirect every thought of fear into thoughts of faith and hope.
I have had experiences of seeing God’s promises fulfilled, like in the time I wrote about in my “Filled the Boat” book, but my life is still in construction, as God moves out the way things were and have been, and moves in the new that He promised.
There are times when I have had nothing, but I must act and think like I have all that God promised me. It is the process of growth, of planting a garden of promises, and casting my vote against the voice of fear to say that Jesus is Sovereign and that His words won’t let me down.
I have had to follow God through faith through some very difficult things. Two years ago, He led me to Chicago with two kids with me, and no money, and no home. There were times when I thought I would crumble from the fear of having no way to eat or a room to stay in, and it was during those times, I had to take little steps to believe in His promises.
Every time that I would start to feel the fear of the serious situation, like when we were almost out of food, or there was no money to cover a room, and it was almost check out, that was always the sign to take little steps of faith, by following the path of hope inside, and not the tempting voice of fear, and suffering.
I have found 100 percent of the time, that the fulfillment of promise and God’s love rescue always comes just beyond that choice of following the path of fear or faith when the fears are starting to intensify and the situation looks impossible to survive.
It is in the middle of that pressure, that the quiet and unexpected relief arrives, like snow in the summer, it is a surprise, even though it was a promise.
Whatever we plant into our life now through an act of faith, whether it is by what we do, what we think about, our willingness to plant financial seeds of love to others are all coming together to create the big picture.
Not only are all those little steps building you the life of your dreams, but they are helping you to unknowingly trust and believe. When you go out of your comfort zone to act just like the promised you would, or the dream you would, then, you are creating a wave of change that will bring out excessive beauty where there was none, like flowers blooming over the dirt and mud.
So I encourage you to start small, and make little changes. Write out God’s personal promises over your life as affirmations. Take a picture of something that you dream to see in your landscape of life, and get nitty-gritty in the details of how you act and think.
Cast your vote to trust Jesus and His vows in the midst of fears, by giving what you have a seed to someone else. Those seeds are actually for you, and they will cause you to see flowers of promise bloom and bloom.
It is the little steps that you take now, that will cause you to suddenly be on the mountain top, or standing in the midst of a dream garden of promise fulfillment. The promises from God do not prosper when mixed with unbelief, but all too often, the unbelief is hidden in the little details that we don’t see. What you plant today, through action and faith, will change everything very quickly.
Believing means to prepare the garden to receive. In order to receive, we must match the look of what we want to see, by planting seeds through the tiny, little things. The smallest seed can make the biggest change. The way to find our way out of the mess of our current problems is by planting flowers along the way.
The smallest steps can being the most breathtaking bloom, and you will come to see that God will meet you at your decision to take steps to believe. He will cause so much to bloom that you are even prepared to see.
It will be a dream, as the beauty of God’s promises flourish into your reality, and you will no longer be recognizable to what you were before. Everything that you hoped for will bloom wildly for you, and there will be so many other unexpected surprises too.
I love you dearly,
Dannette
