The Pain Prepared Me For The Comfort

It’s been an unexpected ride, and I am holding on with a heavy heart. The Lord had shown me that this part of my journey would come, before He lifted us up again. But there are no words on this Earth that can express how painful it has been.
During our journey, I have now had three people try to kill us while listening to the enemies voices, and the most recent one was very hard to believe. Each of the three were very close to me, and that made it hurt indescribably.
When I last shared an update, we had two miracles of promised support come to our rescue, just like angels bringing bread to Elijah when Jezebel was after his life.
It was a roller coaster of emotions after my daughter got lost, because I am very protective over her, and we have never been apart. However, my heart was overjoyed that she was found, and this momma could breathe again.
The next day, the adventures continued, and it seemed like a downhill bumpy road of heartache, and yet the sweetness of God’s miracle bread deliveries brought comfort.
We checked out of the hotel at 2 pm, after being granted a late check out. From there, we waited for the Lord to deliver His promised rescue. I continued to have my faith stretched by God. It was a whirlwind of emotions, because I was heartbroken.
That night in the parking lot, I opened myself in the deepest surrender to God. It was the most painful moment, and yet there was such a sweet peace in knowing that God was taking care of me and my baby.
I slept in the car in the hospital parking lot that night, and the next day I spent all day in a Meijer store parking lot, until 10 pm.
The Lord had been revealing that the next “angel” rescue was coming. Around 10 pm that night (after 20 hours in a parking lot) I received the blessing of Heavenly support to book a room for two nights at a very low rate motel.
Just before the check out on those two nights, I received another miracle delivery of Heavenly support to book two more nights in a bit nicer place. As I left the motel where I found refuge, my car started to flash a light indicating that it was almost out of battery charge.
I obviously didn’t have the money to get a new battery, and the car also had an issue that was causing it to squeal, and it was about to break down. I was praying for God to rescue me….it was so scary!
I realized that I was only 8 minutes away from the hotel where my other car had broken down. I was praying that the car was still there, so I could switch vehicles. I was also praying that the car I was driving would have enough battery life to get me 8 more minutes of driving.
It was such a miracle, disguised in trouble. I arrived at the other hotel and found out that my other car was still there. It had been three months! The other car needed repairs too, but it had a strong battery and my only option was to trust God.
From there, I went to a hotel that was in my heart. I stayed two nights, and then I was given a miracle for another night. That leaves me with today. I am preparing to check out and go where God would take me, and trusting Him to bring the Heavenly bread, during this attack on my life.
I’ve been sledding through this winding path, like weaving in and out of Aspen trees. It’s been like being on a roller coaster, with constant adrenalin. The miracles have not been big, but they have been lifesaving, and just enough to get us through each day.
To the one who tried to bring an end to me and my baby, I forgive you. I am rooting for you and praying for your blessings. I love you, even though you were cat fished by the enemies voices.
The Lord has made me a very big promise of what I will receive for having to endure this attack from the enemy, and those who yield to the enemies voice. It has been a challenge to continue to release my bitterness and anger towards the one who dropped us and didn’t care if we lived or not.
Greed mingled with fear and judgement is a very ugly thing….
Miracles require fresh faith, and that means that we have to let go of all the pain that we have been through. We must also have our soul constantly healed of judgement and fear, in order to hear God clearly. It takes forgiving those who hurt us in unimaginable ways, and even forgiving God for allowing such heart ache.
I can rest knowing that this is a blessing in disguise, as God keeps us comforted in the hard times. The painful times have a purpose. If we never knew the pain and sorrows from this world, then we would never know the indescribable relief that comes from the Comforter we have in Jesus.
He has proved to be our Ever-present support and protector on this journey. It has been bitter-sweet, and very healing. In the midst of my affliction, His promise is my comfort. He is and always will be my true love Savior.
I love you dearly, Dannette
