Faith Stories

Love Always Comes Back Together

When you are walking through the valley of the shadow of darkness, it feels like encountering moments of “separation” from God’s promise, as all the attacks of evil come against you with illusions of bad things that will come from that time.

Those shadows are not true. They are like threatening situations that seem like they might kill you or cause you harm. However, the love of God and His oneness with His words will never allow those evil attacks to prevail, as long as you are placing your trust in His love and not in your fears.

That is what walking is, your feet separate for a moment, and then come back together. God’s love will never leave you or abandon you in your weakness, but walking by faith means facing those opposite scenarios, so that you can become even deeper rooted in love, as those fears are proved wrong and removed.

That is deliverance. God’s love displaces the fears that we have, and those past traumas that cause us to stumble while we walk.

Less than a week ago, I woke up to my car being stolen. After I did some checking, to ensure it was not relocated by the city or repossessed, it was confirmed stolen. I made a police report, and I am waiting for the rescue of my car.

In the meantime, God comforted me by providing a car rental that is paid for by the insurance company. I believe that my car will be brought back to me and that God’s love will prove to withstand the attacks that were targeted over my life.

When it first happened, I was so sad. I looked down on the ground where my car was parked, and I saw shattered black glass, where the thieves had broken a window.

I cried, from the sadness and I felt so defeated, for a brief moment… I felt separated from my promise from God.

But then God started to comfort me and led me with His guidance, just like in the Psalm 23, The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want.”

The Lord showed me that my thoughts of worry, instead of having continuous thoughts of faith, had left a small opening in my life for the thief to enter in. It was like not having as secure door to keep the wild animals out of the house.

Then, God gave me promises of His live saving love and more and more promises about His promised outcomes for my family, as we walk through this faith walk with God in the unfamiliar and treacherous city.

It was just like Psalm 23:4, “Even in the unending shadows of death’s darkness, I am not overcome by fear. Because You are with me in those dark moments, near with Your protection and guidance, I am comforted.”

His love will continue to bless, even in the midst of attacks. Just as God promised in Psalm 23:5-6, “You spread out a table before me, provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies; You care for all my needs, anointing my head with soothing, fragrant oil, filling my cup again and again with Your grace. Certainly Your faithful protection and loving provision will pursue me where I go, always, everywhere”.

I knew that the storm that I would be asked to walk through was brutal and there are more shadows to endure too. Yet God has already shown me how the story ends, and He has given me promises that cannot be uprooted, by anything man or evil can do.

God’s promises will not fail, no matter how violent the storm. The darker the storm is, the more glorious and picturesque the photos will be. Every single attack that comes against your life will come back as a brilliant rainbow with colorful beams of blessings.

God once told me that the way to an abundance was by trusting in this promise from Isaiah 54:10,“ Even if the mountains heave up from their anchors, and the hills quiver and shake, I will not desert you. You can rely on My enduring love; My covenant of peace will stand forever. So says the Eternal One, whose love won’t give up on you”

If we never faced life-threatening things, then we would never need a Savior, and if we never experienced suffering, then we would never need a Comforter. There is a purpose in the darkness that God’s leads us through, but it is to gather the beauty of blessings, and to encounter His intentional love in a way that we never knew.

Walking through the darkness will challenge our faith, as we see the shadows of fears and threats of bad news. However, the darkness is only an illusion and you are only passing through.

God’s love will come through to honor His words as you walk, and LOVE WILL ALWAYS COME BACK TOGETHER, like separating your feet in order to walk, and then bringing your feet back together again.

There is nothing that has the power to separate you from God’s love, and His love is in His very words. You can depend on God to protect you from the dangers of the night, and know that His love will be wrapped around you tight.

We are at an Airbnb in Chicago, and it has been already been a deep time of encountering the love of God in the very face of darkness coming against us from so many sides.

I am so thankful that God has given me the approval of a car to use until He brings back mine, and….even though it is very scary and uncomfortable to walk through, I am thankful for this time. I am excited to see God wrap up this story and place us in His promised home of our own.

Because of the attacks, even more blessings will come out, and I will (and have been) encountering the personal manifestation of God’s love and comfort, as He fulfills His words and makes known His light upon the path.

The walking through the valley is only needed to get to the greener pastures on the other side, or to get to the clearing where He lifts you into the greatest heights, and sets you above your enemies upon the mountain top of His rescuing love.

You cannot curse someone who God has chosen to bless. Since I know that Jesus is the One leading us through this valley experience, then I know we are safe from all the shadows hoping to cause us harm.

True love always comes back together, even when it seems momentarily distanced from attacks. Know that my friend…..nothing can stop a connection of true love. Anything that tries to separate love will fail and face the consequences of such harm.

We receive whatever seeds that we plant, and God has planted you with love and blessings, Himself. Nothing can stop God’s intentional love from doing all that He promised and all that you have hoped that He would do.

There is absolutely nothing that can separate love. Love always comes back together, no matter the storms one might weather.

I don’t know where I heard this quote, but I saved it a long time ago,

“Even the strongest curse can be broken by a love that is stronger than the fear of what could happen”

I love you intensely, and I hope to see all that love that has been promised in your life to come back with even more love than you have ever known or been shown before.
